City walls turn colourful thanks to Kiran Uppar’s initiative!

Vijayavani News, Hubballi : Inspired by the vision of a clean city and love for art, youth from Hubballi have been painting beautiful, meaningful pictures on the blank walls of the city under the leadership of social worker Kiran Uppar, through the campaign ‘Colour My City’.

The city walls are turning into canvases. The railway underbridge, school walls, and other public places are being transformed with artistic paintings.

To commemorate Gandhi Jayanti, the Colour My City team created art on many public walls of the city. Through their creativity, they are spreading awareness and social messages to the public.

Their artwork not only beautifies the city but also brings awareness about cleanliness, patriotism, women’s empowerment, and environmental protection.

“Hubballi-Dharwad Smart City’s goal is not only cleanliness but also beautification. With the help of local youth, we aim to give a new look to the city by painting walls with meaningful messages.”— Kiran Uppar, Social Worker “In Hubballi-Dharwad city, our volunteers have already completed more than 50 artworks through the Colour My City campaign. Similar plans will continue in various parts of the city.”— Colour My City Volunteer Group
