A Message of Respect for Coronavirus Warriors, Necessity of wearing masks

A unique initiative has been undertaken to spread awareness about COVID-19 through paintings on public walls in the city.

The initiative involves painting awareness messages about coronavirus on walls, bridges, and other public places. This new initiative is drawing public attention. In this regard, paintings are being done on the walls of the Public Works Department building near the city bus stand.

These paintings depict awareness messages about how to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the importance of wearing masks, maintaining social distance, and frequently washing hands. This initiative aims to increase awareness among the public. The painting work is being carried out by students and artists from various art schools and colleges in Hubballi, under the guidance of district administration officials and the Department of Public Works.

A student artist involved in the painting said, “We have been doing this work for the past two days. People who see these paintings are realizing the seriousness of the disease and are becoming more aware. We are happy that our work is contributing to public awareness.” This work will continue for a few more days. The students are working with enthusiasm and commitment.

Many people are still not taking the coronavirus seriously. They are coming out in public without masks, which is concerning. To increase awareness, the district administration and the Public Works Department have undertaken this initiative.
